Flex med report deadline March 31

The 2007 flexible savings account (FSA) plan year has ended and you might have an outstanding balance in your medical/dental savings account.

But if you act quickly, there’s no need to worry; the Internal Revenue Service will allow you to spend the remaining money until March 15.

Reimbursements requested for medical and dental expenses incurred during the 2007 plan year and through the March 15, 2008, grace period must be mailed or faxed to Application Software Inc. (ASI), the 2007 plan administrator, by March 31. Any 2007 contributions remaining in your account after all eligible expenses have been reimbursed will be forfeited.

More information regarding ASI and the benefit deadlines can be found at www.asiflex.com/pebb or by phoning 800-659-3035.
