Men’s crew holds rent-a-rower fundraiser

The WSU Men’s Rowing Team is doing their popular fundraiser, Rent-a-Rower, this spring on March 1 through 9.

Members of the community hire rowers to work at $10 an hour to do manual labor.

In the past, WSU rowers have done yard-work, farm-work, moving, painting, and almost any other job one can think of.

The team uses this money to travel to races all over the west coast, including the WIRA and Pac-10 championships, both in Sacramento, California.

Men’s Rowing is a club sport at WSU, so travel is impossible without fundraisers like Rent-a-Rower.

Anyone interested in hiring rowers should go to the website: www.mensrowing.wsu.edu or call 509-332-3026.
