Men’s basketball team defeats Oregon

PULLMAN – The WSU Men’s Basketball team defeated Oregon on Sunday, 69-60. WSU had not beat Oregon since 2001.

Oregon had the lead for the majority of the game, leading 34-30 at the half.

During the second half Oregon shot only 36 percent compared to WSU’s 52 percent.

The Cougars held Oregon 21 points below its season average and to 44 percent shooting.
