Lucila Loera to lead Campus Involvement

Lucila Loera, dean of students, has taken on additional responsibilities within the Division of Student Affairs, Equity and Diversity.  Effective today, Loera provides leadership for the Office of Campus Involvement in addition to her duties as dean.

“The reorganization gives us an opportunity to increase the accessibility, communication and interaction between Luci and students,” said Michael J. Tate, vice president for the division. “It will bring her closer to the hub of activities that support them.”

The change was spurred by the recent departure of Greg Wilkins, who directed the Office of Campus Involvement since July 2006.
