Internet safety speaker gives advice

 
 
RICHLAND – Linda Criddle, an expert in keeping children and consumers safe online, will present two interactive lectures on Jan. 24 at WSU Tri-Cities in Richland.
 
The lectures are at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m. in the East Building Auditorium. Sponsored by Fluor, the lectures are free and open to the public but seating is limited.
 
 
 
Criddle is the author of “Look Both Ways: Help protect your family on the Internet.” Criddle has collaborated with several international and U.S. law enforcement agencies during investigations into the online activities of child predators.
 
Criddle also wrote “Internet Safety for Educators,” a six-week online course for WSU. It is offered through the Center for Distance and Professional Education.
