Vancouver hosts bus boycott monologue

A Rosa Parks monologue will be hosted by WSU Vancouver 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in Administration builiding 110 to mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
 
“Celebrating the Legacy, 50 Years of the Montgomery Bus Boycott,” will be presented free to the public by motivational speaker Shandra L. Terry.
 
Terry’s energetic and dynamic one-woman monologue and keynote deliveries center on diversity, women, personal development, motivation, change, leadership, American History and “The Pursuit of Excellence!”  Her public speaking experience began at age 5 and she is highly sought after by universities, colleges, Fortune 500 corporations, high schools, civic groups, multicultural organizations and government agencies.

A birthday cake reception with Terry will be held immediately following the performance.
