Dennis McCord has joined WSU Tri-Cities as director of facilities and operations.
McCord previously was a facilities manager at Energy Northwest in Richland.
He brings more than 16 years of experience with Energy Northwest — including maintaining, remodeling and landscaping large buildings similar to those on the WSU Tri-Cities campus.
In addition to overseeing custodial staff and campus beautification efforts, McCord is the WSU building manager for the Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory, which will open in March. BSEL is a partnership between WSU and Battelle/Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, so McCord will be working closely with his Battelle counterparts.
