Chancellor’s Art Exhibit Reception Wednesday at WSU Tri-Cities

RICHLAND — More than 40 works of art by 17 regional artists are on display in the Chancellor’s Exhibition Series at Washington State University Tri-Cities.
 
The opening reception is from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9. The reception is at WSU Tri-Cities in the East Building Room 224 (conference room), 2710 University Drive, Richland.
 
This is a semi-annual juried exhibition series designed to showcase the remarkable art of the Columbia Valley. Chancellor Vicky L. Carwein will present a special award to one of the artists at the reception.
 
The 41 paintings and sculptures will be on display through June 27 in the administration corridor. The East Building is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
 
Admission to the reception and the ongoing art exhibition is free and open to the public.
