RICHLAND Lori Selby has joined the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus as the 2007-2008 interim director of the College of Education programs.
She previously served as the executive director of administration in the Business and Finance Office at Utah State University. Prior to that, Selby was director of WSU Pullman’s Department of Sponsored Programs Services.
Selby’s research interests include qualitative studies related to the career patterns of women, minorities, and white men in positions that have historically been dominated by white men. She also teaches in WSU’s educational leadership program.
Selby earned her doctoral degree in higher education administration from WSU in 2001. She has 18 years of experience as an educator, including teaching elementary, middle school, high school, and community college classes, plus undergraduate and graduate level courses at a research university.
