Tickets are currently available through the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum ticket office and through any TicketsWest Outlet for $48.00 per person. Early purchase of the tickets is encouraged since seating is limited and the Beasley ticket office will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving.
The event will take guests back to the Renaissance as they’ll experience the music and theatrics of the WSU Madrigal Singers, conducted by Lori Wiest, with the WSU Trumpet Ensemble, directed by David Turnbull as musical guests.
The music will include English and Italian madrigals from the Renaissance period as well as seasonal music, performed by the 20-member vocal ensemble. Madrigal Singers will be performing in costumes reminiscent of sixteenth century
The Madrigal Dinner is catered by Memorable Events and will include appetizers and spiced cider, a holiday tossed salad of field greens and romaine, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges, chopped fresh apples and toasted almonds with cinnamon orange vinaigrette; tender roast beef with buttermilk mashed red potatoes and orange ginger glazed carrots; and an individual chocolate cake with peppermint drizzle for dessert with coffee or hot tea. Wine will accompany the meal. A vegetarian main course, stuffed portobello mushroom with rice/lentil and vegetable stuffing and portobello marsala reduction, is available.
