PULLMAN – WSU Dining Services plans to take you on a journey of culinary adventure and delight starting Nov. 12 – 16. Dining Services will feature
Dining Services will feature “A Taste of Northwest Native America” at Hillside Café, Northside Café and Stephenson Dining.Starting at 11 a.m. each day, the menu will feature a different Northwest Native American-inspired dish.

The Palouse Falls Intertribal Drum Group and the Native American Music 265 Class will also perform on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Northside Café and Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Stephenson Dining.
The performances begin at 5p.m. with the Music 265 class honoring the Cherokee Nation with a “Cherokee Stomp Dance.” Shortly following, the Palouse Falls Intertribal Drum Group will perform “Honor Song”.
A presentation on drums and their role in special ceremonies will be given, following vocal pieces called “Circle Dance” songs. Students and visitors will be encouraged to participate.
In addition to the food and entertainment, cultural information about Northwest Native America will circulate throughout the dining facilities.
A Taste of Northwest Native America is the third installment in the Passport To A Culinary Adventure. A Taste of Scandinavia is scheduled for the month of December.
The rest of the year will be as follows: January – Australia; February – Morocco; March – Turkey; and April – Thailand.
