PULLMAN, Wash.–The finalists for the 2007 Dad of the Year at Washington State University have been selected, and will be honored at the annual Dad’s Weekend Breakfast Saturday, Nov.10, at the Old Post Office Wine Gallery in downtown Pullman. The Dad of the year will also be introduced during the halftime festivities at the WSU-Stanford football game.
The finalists were selected by a committee of staff and students from nominations submitted by current WSU students, from first-year students to seniors, based on their engagement with and commitment to their student’s college experience at WSU.
The finalists, with the name of the WSU student in parentheses are:
Rick Adams (Ricky Adams) of Prosser, Wash.; Scot L. Evans (Whitney Evans) of Jackson, Wyo.; Dwight L. Gray (Nicole Gray) of Battle Ground, Wash.; Andrew Jordan (Leah G. Jordan) of Spokane, Wash.; Michael A. Marsh (Kelsey Marsh) of Bellevue, Wash.; Michael H. Van Nortwick (Amy S. Van Nortwick) of Mount Vernon, Wash.; Kenneth E. Weber (Sarah E. Weber) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and Bruce L. Whittaker (Kelsey R. Whittaker) of Bellevue, Wash.
