Student debate team addresses human mobility

VANCOUVER – The debate team from WSU Vancouver presents, “Has the automobile ravaged our nation? Can we return to a world of human mobility?”
This debate is open to the public and will be held at noon, Nov. 7 on campus in the Administration Building, room 110. Inspired by this year’s New Student Reading Project, “Asphalt Nation,” by Jane Holz Kay, the debate is sponsored by the WSU Vancouver General Education program.
 
Team members are Joseph Ficken and Tia Ostergren for the
government team, Anna Patterson and Bryce Smith for the opposing team.
