SUNNYSIDE, Wash. Middle school students and their parents can learn why math and science make great career choices during the MESA Middle School Conference this Saturday, Nov. 3, at Sierra Vista Middle School in Sunnyside.
Workshops for students and parents will teach about the career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics; the higher education needed to get those jobs; introduce professionals who can provide advice; plus talk about how to successfully get through the school system and get the financial aid to earn those college degrees.
