Disaster preparedness focus of training

About 40 people, representing WSU administration, WSU and Pullman police departments and the Pullman fire department, are participating in a two-day intermediate incident command system course at WSU Thursday and Friday.

The course, taught by training officers from the Pullman Fire Department, will run through the planning, organization, and execution of a response to disaster scenarios.

The training is necessary for WSU to maintain its standing under the National Incident Management System.
