New research collaborations are the ultimate goal of a request for proposals by the WSU Office of Research (OR). Proposals, due Nov. 30, are specifically for funding for interdisciplinary seminar series, retreats and/or symposia.
It is expected that these events will foster future collaborative research projects and advance the strategic goals of colleges, departments, the OR and the university. OR will provide up to $5,000 for winning proposals. Associated college(s) and department(s) are expected to invest similar amounts.
Proposal guidelines can be found ONLINE @ www.ogrd.wsu.edu/documents/IOC_2008.pdf. Proposals are due Nov. 30 to the Office of Grant and Research Development. Winners will be announced on or before Jan. 31, 2008.
