UREC hosts breast cancer awareness classes

According to breastcancer.org, every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Want to know more? Get informed about breast cancer by attending a breast cancer awareness class with University Recreation.

Learn about breast cancer and the proper screening for breast cancer through this informative and interactive wellbeing workshop. Class will be held October 10 from 12:10 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and October 17 from 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Both classes will take place in Lighty 405. There is no cost for attending the workshop, and registration will be taken up until the start of the class.
