Organic farm harvest celebration

PULLMAN -Fresh apple cider and family fun are on tap at the harvest celebration at the WSU organic farm from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Tukey Horticultural Orchard.

A u-pick pumpkin patch will brim with traditional jack-o-lanterns, baby pumpkins and new novelty varieties. Hay wagon rides, face painting and u-pick fruit in the orchard will round out the activities. Those attending the event can try to guess the weight of a giant pumpkin on display and win a jack-o-lantern.

The entrance to the orchard and farm is located by the intersection of Airport and Terre View roads. Follow the signs up the hill to the festival.
