K-12 Students Can Audition for Jack and the Beanstalk Play

PULLMAN, Wash.–An audition for children will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Jack and the Beanstalk” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 24 at Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.

Those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Approximately 50 roles are available for local students. All students grades Kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse four hours each day, Monday through Friday. Performances are scheduled for Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum.

Jack and the Beanstalk is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented as part of Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum’s Family Series of entertainment.
