WSU Vancouver names new nursing director

VANCOUVER, Wash.- Ginny Guido is the new regional director and assistant dean of nursing at Washington State University Vancouver.

She comes to WSU Vancouver this semester from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where she was professor and associate dean for graduate studies in the College of Nursing for eight years.

“I think WSU Vancouver and I are a good fit,” Guido said. “I want to continue to grow our programs, implementing our doctor of nursing practice degree in fall of 2009, while keeping our current programs strong.”

Guido holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Incarnate Word College, San Antonio, Texas; a master of science in nursing from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.; and a juris doctor degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas.
