Washington Technology Center to Offer Research Grant Information Session

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Entrepreneurs and organizations in need of funding for research into new technologies and improvements on existing technologies can obtain guidance and assistance at a grant information session to be held at Washington State University Vancouver.

“Funding for Technology Entrepreneurs” takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 7, in the Multimedia Classroom Building, room 1.

Attendees will meet researchers and hear directly from entrepreneurs who have successfully received Research and Technology Development grants and Small Business Innovation Research grants. Representatives from the WTC will be on hand to answer questions, and Bart Phillips of the Columbia River Economic Development Council will moderate a panel discussion featuring grant recipients and small business consultants.

This event is free of charge and includes lunch with advance registration. Interested parties may register online at https://www.vancouver.wsu.edu/events/wtc/ before July 30 to reserve a seat. Registrants will receive a free parking pass via email after they register.
