SPOKANE, Wash. Washington State University Spokane recently hired Janet Frost as an assistant professor in Math Education. She will be joining the WSU faculty on the Riverpoint Campus this July.

Coming from an extensive teaching background, Frost will continue her quest to strive for diversity and equity in mathematics education by working on issues related to gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation and socioeconomic status. She plans to work collaboratively with area teachers, educational leaders, and community organizations to address these issues in support of all students and their teachers.
Speaking very highly of Frost, Joan Kingrey, academic director of education programs, said, “We are extremely fortunate to add such a capable math educator to our faculty.
