Nursing graduates to be recognized Thursday in candlelight ceremony

RICHLAND, Wash. — Graduates of the Washington State University Tri-Cities College of Nursing will be recognized at Convocation, a special candlelight ceremony, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Shilo Inn, 50 Comstock St., Richland.
 
Convocation is a thoughtful occasion where faculty, staff, medical professionals, and students celebrate the hard work of the spring 2007 graduating class.
 
The hour-long ceremony features special awards presented to select students, a solo by Miss Tri-Cities Charlotte Smith; student speakers Kelly Harper, Lisa McCurley, and Cali Payne; and faculty speakers Lisa Kisenwether and Annette McClendon.
 
Convocation is open to the public. A reception follows the ceremony.
