WEB SPOTLIGHT

A new website, titled Professor Share, serves as a resource to ensure that high school students in the state are able to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of WSU professors.

The idea for the Professor Share program was created after the success of the Innovators series, a lecture program taught across the state by WSU researchers. The goal of the series was to create a better understanding of the university’s contributions to research and progress related to issues facing the nation. As part of Innovators, WSU researchers also spoke in area high schools.

Professorshare.wsu.edu allows high schools to request that a faculty member speak at their school. It also provides a list of faculty experts in various areas so that the public is better able to understand the breadth of topics faculty can cover.
Testimonials from those who have participated in the Professor Share program are also on the website.

For more information, visit the website at www.professorshare.wsu.edu.
