WSU theatre to perform The Miss Firecracker Contest

PULLMAN  – Washington State University’s Theatre Arts Program presents “The Miss Firecracker Contest” beginning April 5 in  Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall.

“The Miss Firecracker Contest,” by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley, will show at 8 p.m. April 5-7 and April 12-14 with an additional 2 p.m. matinee on April 14. “The Miss Firecracker Contest” is an explosively funny Southern Gothic about a small town beauty contest full of suspense, conflict and hope.

Play tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for WSU students and children, $7.50 for seniors, and free for graduate/professional students and domestic partners, valid identification will be required. Tickets can be purchased at the box office during performance weeks only, Wednesday through Friday 2-5:30 p.m. and one hour prior to each performance.
