Cougars beat No. 25 Stanford

The Washington State Cougars defeated No. 25 Stanford on Thursday evening, 58-45. For the first time since the 1993-94 season, the Cougars reached 20 wins.

After a 22-20 halftime lead, the Cougars pushed the lead up to 30-21 and then continued to take the victory. WSU held Stanford to 45 points, a season low for the team.

Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver led Cougar scoring with 12 points each. Ivory Clark had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Robbie Cowgill contributed another 10 points.

The Cougars next home game will be against California, with tip off time at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10.
