Cougar Pride Days project nominations accepted

PULLMAN– The Cougar Pride Days spring cleaning event is just around the corner, a sure sign of impending spring on the Washington State University campus.

The sixth annual event will be held March 28-April 6. Volunteers — university and community members — are needed to plant flowers, shrubs, and trees as well as spread bark and do more on the WSU campus and around the city of Pullman said Ev Davis, chairman of the Cougar Pride Days planning committee.

Davis said two ways to assist in the effort are to volunteer or nominate a community or campus project.  To nominate a project, call Merlene Greenway with the city of Pullman at (509) 338-3228. Volunteers can also help make Cougar Pride Days buttons to promote the event by calling Lorrie Arrasmith at (509) 335-9024.
