Career fair slated for Feb. 6 and 7

PULLMAN– Washington State University’s College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences in cooperation with University of Idaho’s colleges of Natural Resources and Agricultural and Life Sciences, will host their annual career fair Feb. 6 and 7.

Sponsored by a WSU-UI partnership of student organizations, the fair is free and open to the public. Employers from a variety of corporations, federal and state agencies and non-profit groups will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 in the WSU Plant BioSciences Building (across from Martin Stadium) and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the UI Student Union Building Ballroom.

Employers include: Del Monte Foods, J.R. Simplot, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, The McGregor Company, Hermiston Foods, Cargill Animal Nutrition, American Civil Constructors, Walgreens and Philmont Scout Ranch.

Any college student, regardless of academic year or major, is encouraged to attend the fair and talk with employers. Community members also are invited to attend. The attending employers are seeking interns, summer and/or permanent employees in a variety of majors. Participants should bring an updated resume.
