Research superstar best for WSU Tri-Cities

The future has never looked brighter for Washington State University Tri-Cities.

Community support for the first freshman class — scheduled to start this fall — is phenomenal, and plans are under way to add even more freshmen in the second year.

Now the campus is poised to get a needed boost into the big leagues.

In Olympia, state lawmakers are considering WSU’s request for money to bring in a research superstar to head the Center for Bioproducts and Bioenergy.
