WSU Board of Regents to meet Friday in Pullman

Pullman– The Board of Regents of Washington State University will hold its regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Friday (Jan. 26) in Room 405 of the Lighty Student Services Building on the Pullman campus.

* The agenda for the meeting is available at http://regents.wsu.edu/meeting-dates/070126Agenda.pdf.

The board will be asked to approve a revised budget of $24 million for Phases I and II of the renovation of Martin Stadium. The phases were originally budgeted at $22.5 million. The new budget reflects the costs of an enlarged area for restrooms and a new ticket building on the east concourse.

The board will also be asked to adopt a set of model public records rules, produced by the state attorney general’s office, and a revision to the faculty manual clarifying the policy regarding the use of textbooks and other learning materials written by WSU faculty.

On Thursday, the board will hold committee meetings from 12:30 to 5 p.m. in Lighty.
