Wine Auction Sells Out

SEATTLE — The sixth annual “A Celebration of Washington Wines” dinner and auction Jan. 27 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is sold out, organizers announced today (Jan. 12).

The event is a fund raiser for the Viticulture and Enology program at Washington State University. Held annually since 2002, “A Celebration of Washington Wines has raised more than $700,000 for the program.

“We’re so pleased that interest in the event continues to grow each year,” said Nancy Harnasch, chair of the organizing committee. “Not only is this a chance for wine enthusiasts to come together for an elegant evening in a beautiful venue, it enables WSU to continue its world-class research and fill the need for talent in support of the future of Washington’s $3 billion and growing wine industry.”

Although tickets are no longer available, those who wish to make a tax-deductible donation in support of the WSU Viticulture and Enology Program can send a check (payable to WSU Viticulture and Enology) to WSU West, c/o Jackie Jacobs, 520 Pike St, Ste. 1101, Seattle, WA 98101 or by using the online form at the Website below.
