A wealth of Cougar merchandise can be purchased at a new location, the Cougar Rack.
The Cougar Rack, a new store installed on the Beasley Coliseum concourse, will be open during Coliseum events.
Patrons had put in requests for a merchandise store because many events at Beasley occur at night when the Bookie and Crimson and Gray are closed, said Leo Udy, director of Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.
“We see it as a way to enhance the Beasley experience,” he said.
The store will be open during all major events at Beasley, Udy said. During some sporting events the Bookie sells merchandise, and during those games the Cougar Rack will not be open.
However, someone will be offering Cougar merchandise during every event at Beasley, Udy said.
The store has many items, including sweatshirts, hats, glassware, basketballs and tailgate items.
