WSU Vancouver Student Government Collects Clothing, Food, Toys for Local Kids

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver will be collecting toy, food and clothing donations for children from now through Dec. 8.

ASWSUV is accepting new and gently used toys and clothing, as well as non-perishable foods, in drop bins in the Campus Café, and in the ASWSUV office in the Library Building, room 12, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

At the end of the drive, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office will distribute all donations to programs that help children in families affected by homelessness and methamphetamines.

Donors can call ASWSUV at 360/546-9520 or email sg-prd@vancouver.wsu.edu to arrange pick-up service if they are unable to drop off their items.
