Students show off their cars at ASWSU event

PULLMAN – The First Inaugural Cougar Car Show, an ASWSU homecoming event, revved up at noon Tuesday.  Car stereos boomed across Glenn Terrell Mall as students competed for the title of best sound system. 

The car show was open to students wanting to show off their cars. Categories included best in show, best 4×4, best sound system, hoopty of the year, best couged-out ride and best classic car.

Reusable containers a hit with students and the environment

Since the service was implemented, the reusable containers program has saved almost 65,000 single-use containers and over 6,000 pounds of waste from the landfill, nearly 42,000 gallons of water, and over 43,000 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.
