Camping for a cause

WSU students from STAND with Social Responsibility are living in tents on Glenn Terrell Mall this week. The demonstration is for raising awareness of the ethnic conflict and genocide happening in the Darfur region of Sudan.

Students set up camp on Monday at 8 a.m. and will stay until 6:30 p.m. Friday. Their accommodations are intended to be similar to a Darfur refugee camp. For more information on the demonstration, visit www.fiveforfive.net.
