Cougar Night planned at Seattle Mariners game

The Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) is teaming up with the Seattle Mariners for “Cougar Night” on Friday, Aug. 25. Sports fans who cheer for the Cougars and the Seattle Mariners can show their support for both organizations by attending the 7:05 p.m. game against the Boston Red Sox at Safeco Field. Cougar fans who purchase their tickets through the WSUAA or by the information listed below will receive a free Crimson & Gray Seattle Mariners’ cap; complete with both the Cougar and Mariners logos. Additionally, ticket purchasers will all sit in a special Cougar section and enjoy a special appearance by Butch T. Cougar. A pre-game rally at the Pyramid Ale House will be held prior to game time. A limited number of tickets and free hats have been reserved for Cougar Night. Tickets are $18 per person and need to be reserved by Aug. 18.
