The awards represent the amount of funding obtained by clients with a certified business advisor’s assistance, or the number of jobs created or saved as a result of a certified business advisor’s assistance. The awards recognize the importance of funding and jobs impacts to SBDC clients’ individual businesses as well as the importance of those impacts to local economies.
To gain entrance into the respective clubs, the certified business advisor’s aggregated clients must save or create at least 100 jobs and access capital and equity of at least $1 million, $5 million or $10 million and above.
A total of 19 certified business advisors were honored with $10, $5, or $1 Million Club awards and seven Certified Business Advisors received the 100 Jobs Club award. Among the list of $10 Million Club award winners were DeAnna Burnett-Keener (Green River Community College SBDC),
