PERS Plan 3 seminars scheduled for May 8

Employees who participate in PERS 3 or are considering enrolling in the plan have the opportunity to attend all or some of the retirement seminars scheduled for Monday, May 8, in the Benefit Services’ Meeting Room, French Ad 230:

• Retirement Distribution, 9-10:15 a.m. Learn about making withdrawals from the defined contribution money once you separate from all PERS-covered employment or officially retire from WSU. Payment may be taken under a variety of plans.

Drop-in Session, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Ask questions or bring in your investment statements for review.

Self-Directed Investment, 2-3:15 p.m. Learn more about your choices between the two investment programs: the Washington State Investment Program and the Self-Directed Investment Program. In each there are various investment funds representing diversified portfolios.

Employees within five years of retirement especially are encouraged to gather information that will assist in making decisions.

Register online at www.icmarc.org/plan3. Choose the webpage for your retirement plan, then click on the left side of the page for the link to the Web schedule. When the schedule reloads, scroll down the list to find the seminar you want and click on registration. Spouses are welcome to attend.
