WSU Tri–Cities Student Club to Present Check to Domestic Violence Services

TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Late last summer, WSU students in the Hear Here Club conducted a giant on-campus yard sale in support of the work of Domestic Violence Services in the Tri–Cities.

At noon, Monday (April 3) in the East Building Auditorium, the fruits of their sales will be noted, as a check for nearly $1,300 is presented during a ceremony on the north Richland campus.

The Hear Here Club was formed several years ago at the Tri-Cities campus to provide students a forum for meeting and discussing wide-ranging and sometimes controversial issues.

During the April 3 session, club president Ray Ruddles will present the check to Kelly Atkins of Domestic Violence Services. She will make a presentation about the activities of her organization.

Refreshments will be served and all are invited to attend.
