Attorney General Ashcroft lecture tickets still available

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Former Attorney General John Ashcroft will speak at 7:30 p.m. on April 12 at WSU Vancouver’s fourth annual Public Affairs Distinguished Lecture Series. Ashcroft will speak on “National Security and Civil Liberties in the 21st Century.”

Tickets are available to the general public for $10 with additional fees through all TicketsWest outlets. Tickets can be charged by phone at (503) 224-TIXX in Portland and at 800-992-TIXX in all other areas. Tickets can also be bought on the Web at www.ticketswest.com.

Additionally, local high school and college students with current student IDs can attend for $5 through the WSU Vancouver Cashier’s Office. Students who qualify can call (360) 546-9593 for more information.

Ashcroft’s appearance at Skyview High School, located at 1300 NW 139th Street, is sponsored by the Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver and the Thomas Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service. A reception, with Attorney General Ashcroft in attendance, will immediately follow in the Student Center.

The WSU Vancouver campus is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205.
