Solstice Quintet concert March 26

The Solstice Wind Quintet will present a spring concert on Sunday, March 26 at 3 p.m. in the WSU Bryan Hall Theatre. This distinguished faculty ensemble, which has been in residence at WSU since 1978, is known for intimate, friendly performances in the best chamber music tradition.

Sunday’s concert will feature music by Cuban jazz composer Paquito D’Rivera, 19th century Romantic composer Theodor Blumer and the legendary American composer Elliot Carter.

The Solstice Quintet is comprised of Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Anthony Taylor, clarinet; Sarah Bahauddin, oboe; Ryan Hare, bassoon; and Jennifer Scriggins, horn—in a free concert.
