Sisters to Talk About Volunteer Work in Mississippi

PULLMAN, Wash. –Washington State University students and sisters Linsay and Teresa Coons, will give a presentation regarding their volunteer work in Mississippi helping with hurricane disaster relief.

The presentation will take place at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Environmental Health and Services building (corner of Grimes Way and Airport Rd.), room B5.

“We aren’t looking for gold stars, we just want to get the word out that there is still much work to be done and that anyone with willing hands could contribute,” said Teresa Coon in an e-mail to the College of Engineering and Architecture. “Here in Washington we don’t hear much of the hurricane victims anymore, but there are still entire cities just waiting for volunteers to help them get back on their feet.”
