Education hosts grand opening for addition

Dean Judy Mitchell of the College of Education invites everyone to the opening celebrations for the new education building addition.

The addition is the $11 million classroom and office building constructed next to Cleveland Hall, home of the College of Education at the Pullman campus. In the photograph, Mitchell is on the Cleveland Hall balcony, with the addition and covered pedestrian bridge connecting both buildings in the background.

The grand opening, with President V. Lane Rawlins, Provost Robert Bates and representatives of the Washington Legislature, will be held three hours prior to game time on Saturday, Oct. 15. Student-led tours, faculty presentations and a reception will be included.
