How to Support Grambling State University’s ‘Operation Good Samaritan’

PULLMAN, Wash. — As part of Washington State University’s efforts assisting Hurricane Katrina victims, WSU raised funds for Grambling State University’s “Operation Good Samaritan.”

On Sept. 17 at the Grambling State-WSU football game in Seattle, WSU student volunteers collected $12,000 for the operation. The funds will be used by the Louisiana university for a variety of purposes, including assisting Grambling State students from the New Orleans area and helping other universities which have taken in displaced students.

WSU Katrina Relief Task Force leaders say those who would like to support “Operation Good Samaritan” can write checks payable to “Grambling State University Operation Good Samaritan,” and mail the checks to GSU Office of Development, P. O. Box 1185, Grambling, LA 71245.
