Philosophy to host annual Potter lecture

The 44th annual Potter Memorial Lecture, sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and free to the public, will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in Smith CUE 203. Linda Martin Alcoff, professor in the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, will speak on “The Critique of Identity Politics.”

She also will talk on “Identity, Autonomy and Self/Other Relations” at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in the Bundy Reading Room of Avery Hall.
