Seattle Luncheon to Showcase WSU Biotechnology Research

SEATTLE – Washington State University will present an informative luncheon Sept. 14 to highlight the university’s biotechnology research and to discuss its potential economic and health benefits to Washingtonians and individuals worldwide.

The luncheon will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers, located at 1400 6th Ave., Cirrus Room, 35th floor. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. There is no cost to attend. To reserve a seat, send an e-mail to events@wsuwest.edu or phone (206) 219-2416. The reservation deadline is Sept. 7.

WSU President V. Lane Rawlins will attend the event along with faculty researchers who will interact with guests and answer questions about the university’s research in biotechnology, which promises to dramatically alter the world.
