Dierks Bentley Tickets On Sale

PULLMAN, Wash. – Tickets are on sale to see country music newcomer Dierks Bentley perform at Washington State University’s Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum Sept. 11.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert are $28, with a $5 discount for WSU staff, faculty and students who purchase their tickets at Beasley Coliseum or the Cougar Depot. Tickets can be purchased at all TicketsWest outlets, by phone at (800) 325-SEAT or online at www.beasley.wsu.edu.

Bentley is best known for his No. 1 debut single “What Was I Thinkin’” and its follow-up “Lot of Leavin’ Left to Do,” off his latest album, “Modern Day Drifter.” He was named the Academy of Country Music top new artist for 2004. Critics describe his sound as a combination of turbo-charged Bakersfield twang and honky-tonk with an up-tempo groove and clever wordplay.

Bentley has opened for acts that include George Strait and Kenny Chesney and recorded the song “Good Things Happen” with Grammy-winning musician Alison Krauss.
