Most students attend more than one college

The majority of students who graduate with a bachelor’s degree attend more than one college, according to a new report from the U.S. Education Department.

The report provides demographic details on students and looks at why 59 percent transferred from a community college or another institution or enrolled in two or more institutions simultaneously.

Issued by the National Center for Education Statistics, the study notes that this trend has been increasing for several years. For an up-close look at the report, go to https://nces.ed.gov/pubs2005/2005157.pdf
