WSU women team capture first at Bloomsday

WSU had four corporate teams that participated in the annual Bloomsday run, May 1 in Spokane. The WSU Womens’ Corporate Team took first place in the Women’s Division at the event and placed 5th out of 273 teams. The team included Esther Prins, assistant professor, Educational Leadership and Counseling Psychology;  Jean Grammer, project associate in Molecular Biosciences; Vicki McCracken, associate vice president and associate vice provost for Enrollment Services; Katrina Mealey, associate professor in Veterinary Clinical Sciences; and Sharon White, marketing design manager for Marketing Communications.

WSU’s Crimson and Grey team took fourth place in the corporate category for organizations with more than 1,300 employees. First place went to the University of Washington Purple People Eaters.
