Four directors from the National Science Foundation will be in Pullman April 19 and 20 to make presentations about their specific fields in science.
The presentations will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on April 19, and from 9 to 10 a.m. on April 20 in the CUB Cascade Room 125-127. The April 19 presentation will be videostreamed across the state at www.experience.wsu.edu. The April 20 presentation will allow Spokane faculty and staff to access the presentation and interact with the directors via a video conference in Health Sciences Building Room 210F.
The four participating NSF directors are Dr. Machi Dilworth, division director of the Division of Biological Infrastructure; Dr. Jane Silverthorne, lead program director of the Plant Genome Research Program; Dr. Diane Jofuku Okamoru, program director of the Plant Genome Research Program; and Dr. Chris Greer, program director of the Frontiers in Integrative Biological Research. Each director will make a separate presentation based on their emphasis in the NSF.
